First Glimpse Gives Back
First Glimpse has given back to our amazing community in so many ways. We've supported local school team and academic programs, sponsored local athletics, and volunteered in community service. Our staff volunteers at places like the Marion House, the El Paso County Youth Suicide Prevention Coalition, team coaching, and local church groups. We have a huge passion for those who serve our community as well. We provide free ultrasounds regularly to our military, in giveaways, and supporting our local OB offices. Just last year, we donated more than $5000 in free ultrasounds.

Warm Family Friendly Environment
At First Glimpse Ultrasound, we wanted our families to come and feel comfortable with the truly unique experience they were to have here and so we designed the atmosphere as we did our home. We welcome families and friends into our studios where they can come experience a miraculous first glimpse and see how truly beautiful babies already are.
Each of our offices features a comfortable waiting area for you and your guests as well as a large viewing room where the action takes place. While we can comfortably seat 10-12, we welcome all who you would like to bring. Try to beat our record of 40!
Meet Our Staff
SHERY - ultrasound specialist, Certified Phlebotomist
First Glimpse Ultrasound is owned and operated by Shery, mother of 3 boys and one lucky daughter through marriage (actually, Shery is the lucky one) and her husband, Ken. She loves bringing the miracle of 2D, 3D/4D and HD ultrasound, early gender determination and prenatal bonding to the growing families of Colorado at First Glimpse Ultrasound. Shery has been performing scans since 2007. She has seen more than 50,000 babies and has a special knack for early gender determinations. Shery is also a consultant around the country, teaching others the "art of 4D". With her drive, she continues to be the first to offer Colorado the latest in what's happening in the industry. First Glimpse was the first with HD and the first to bring early gender blood testing to Colorado, and now first HD Live Studio / Real Glimpse. Watch for what's next!
JHOANNA - office manager / customer service specialist - Spanish translator - certified phlebotomist
We LOVE having Jhoanna on board our team! She is the friendly face and voice at our Powers office, running the show for both locations.
ASHLEY -ultrasound specialist, certified phlebotomist
Ashley loves working in OB ultrasound and was even a previous mama to see her own little one during pregnancy. She has 5 children with her husband and loves to camp and travel.
ANGELA, ARDMS eligible - sonographer
Recent graduate from CBD College for diagnostic medical sonography, and recently moved here from California, Angela is loving Colorado Springs so far. She will be recently attained her ARDMS in OB/GYN and plans to further sonography career.
SARAH M - ultrasound specialist, certified phlebotomist
Sarah joined us in 2022 and has one of the sweetest smiles. She is quickly stepping into a managerial role keeping us all in line and entertained. She lives with her military husband and two children.

Brand new to the family, she loves her family and was a client of FGU with her daughter where she fell in love with what we do. She calls herself the chicken lady and loves her little farm in the country.
GINGER - ultrasound specialist, certified phlebotomist
Ginger recently joined our team and brings experience from other elective ultrasound offices. We look forward to watching her continue to grow.
Our Equipment
We use only GE ultrasound products.
We introduce to you the GE Voluson E10 for imaging quality not offered anywhere else in the state. We are the ONLY facility where you can find Real Glimpse - HDLive Studio. This also provides new Silhouette imaging. The images we can provide you are the clearest around, compared to other facilities, or even OB providers.
We also use the GE Voluson S8, and is still top in its class for superior imaging quality in order to provide the highest quality 3D/4D. We use this system for our Early Glimpse between 6-9 weeks.
